Today visited 2 tour agencies.
1. UTAS
2. Holidays Tour
Didnt really get any information. Just feel that the RM4,000 will not be enough to cover the expenses.
Next, back to UTM. Searched for Office of International Affairs. Got a hard time searching as they are moving the office to a new venue. But got help from a good staff in DSI who directed us to a building where I had never been to. There's no sign boards.Walked around the building and somehow, we managed found the place. :)
Found the office but it was empty. No computers, just tables with a few busy staff. Met a lady who was about to enter, she offer help. And next, directed us to rahimah.
Here we go. Fortunately, Rahimah's office is just next door. It was 4pm, the office was about to close, but managed to meet her. :) She's very busy with international affairs, we waited for a while before we get to speak to her.
Asked her about the agreement of understanding with AirAsia. The result as below:
These big boss of UTM and AirAsia are too desperate for publicity and made a empty agreement. Whatever was playing in their mind didnt turn up as it is. They agreements were just between themselves, it didnt reach the understanding of the staffs (both UTM and AirAsia). In the document their both signed, there's no clear statements of what AirAsia is going to offer. So at the end of the day, we (students) are getting nothing. :(We have to work out by ourselves them. Gambatte!!!
RM4000 seems to be a very very tight budget. Please offer us with something better :)
