1 Day Trip

Dear Diary,
Last Sunday, we gone to hotspring on a hot day. Crazy us. We left at 8am after having the great bak kut teh (RM 41.60 for 6 of us) of Klang. We traveled in LS's new vios. Fuyoh. Forgotten what's the plate number d. If not can buy 4D.

After exiting Sungkai toll (RM16.80), all 6 of us were looking at the signboard for direction. We decided to take the right turning. Here we go.....RIGHT...after about 5 minutes, we realized there's no signboard showing the way to the hotspring. We decided to take a u-turn.
Then,we happily driving back to the starting point. In a calm tone, LC said "There's a dog" (CALMLY). It was close. Ehhhhhhheeee~ nothing happened. We almost bang the dog. Fuuuu. Every one got shock. Especially the driver, SH. It was so close. First, thank to LC's calm warning(LOL), to the skillful driver (we skidded a little to the opposite side but she managed to bring back the car, so kancheong) and the powerful Toyota car (Thanks to the developer of ABS). Note: our 1st time traveling in car with ABS. We usually travel in local made car. :) Thanks to LS.

Finally, reached the hotspring. The route to the hotspring is narrow and bumpy. So, drive safely. Entrance fee: RM 10 for adults.
This is the 1st photo of the day and it's one of my favourite too. :) Love the umbrella. So colourful and big. Can fit all 6 of us.
 Yeah. The Happy Kids.
That's me! me! me! My new hairstyle. Haiz

 Photo in photo. Muahaha.
MC: I'll boil u soon. Muahaha!

Eggs are available at the counter next to the egg boiling place. RM 2 for 5 eggs. We bought 10=RM4
Ze kids excited over some eggs. Note: These are raw eggs for hotspring hard boiled egg.
Woohoo. This is the mountain spring pool. A mini theme park for kids and adults. Of course this is a cold-water pool.
Another shot before leaving for big-kid-slide. MC with goggles. Spoiler: Catch MC in action later.
This is the big-kid-slide. "We'll hold our hands and slide side by side." Warning: This is a dangerous slide. Accident happened there. Ze (big) kids were smiling before sliding. After sliding down, SH almost hit a kid (To SH: did u slide 100km/h?) Haha. Anyway, to save the kid, she tried to avoid the kid. At the end, LS bang her head with her chin. Sigh.
Here! Here! Here! MC caught in action. Haha. Not crime. But cute sliding position with goggles. Super cute.
1st was SH. But I missed her's. So, this is candidate 2: MC, who won the cutest pose award. Reward: hard boiled egg
 3rd: HX
 4th: LS
 5th: LC
Psss...Oh ya...the impact of the slides were so great, it torn someone's pants. Sigh. Dangerous.
Typo here: POSE OF THE DAY. Who started this pose? Why this pose? Dont ask me...Coz I dunno. LOL
MC looks suspicious here. But nothing happened.
 Another photo before leaving.
Out of no where, a 2010 pose.
Upon leaving the mountain spring pool, LC fell down and hurt both her knees. OUCH! Blood was like pouring our from her knees. So scary. She was so calm and was laughing. Sigh.
Look at LC's bleeding knees. Sigh
There's the place we boil the eggs. It's extremely hot. In fact, it's boiling. The one in blue basket was ours. Of course they cant cook well coz it was not soaked in the water. A few minutes later, we changed the position.
While waiting for the eggs, we soaked our feet into the hotspring. It was 42-50°C hot. So hot, I felt like my feet are well-cooked. Haha. Just joking. But it's hot. Kids better be careful. Most of the people were elders who can stand hot. Thin skin people like us (hehe) cant really stand the hot temperature.
After 6-7 minutes (follow the instructions given), hotspring hot boiled eggs are ready! Wooohoooo!
First to pose with eggs, Ms SH.
Hotspring hard boiled eggs are extremely delicious. It's different from those we usually cook in the kitchen. It's smoother and not dry. And it's bouncier. (Chinese: very Q) The egg york is brighter and more vivid in colour compared to the one we usually have in nasi lemak. Hehe.

Next stop, private pool. RM75 for an hour. No disturbance just me and u family/friends. But, it was fully booked, so we get ourselves changed.
Tara, happy kids back to the umbrella. All dressed up.
Then, LS join in. SH walked away. But still smiles. She didnt realized, she's in the photo too. Muahaha, evil me.

After Sungkai, our next stop was Kampar. Famous in Kampar is the 面包鸡 (Chicken Bread) and UTAR. (LOL. Of course, UTAR's famous also)

What's for lunch other than Chicken Bread. We selected KamLing.

 TARA! The main dish.
Anyway, this is really a normal dish. Nothing to shout about. The bread is hard and the curry is not spicy. Really some common food. But since it's famous, we need to try. No harm trying. RM 22 for small. That's once of a lifetime. I dont think i'll wanna go back for more. It's not something u will crave for more.
These egg tarts are freshly baked everyday. It was quickly grabbed by customers. So, I also kehpo and bought 1/2 dozen.(Picture: one ate by mum, before I could snap pic). Very nice (Full review, visit here). RM1.40 each. I bought 6=RM8.60

Next stop was Kampar's 2nd famous, UTAR. Hooray. Some might not be surprised. But for us (those from public uni) this place is like a heaven. The place is so big, modern, and new. Ours is completely reverse.

 The beautiful mountain
The must-have: staircase photo when every there's one
After about 15 minutes visiting the library (Nah, we didnt enter, just in front of the library), we left UTAR.
The traffic was crazy. Jam Jam Jam. Stop and move, stop and move a little. We witnessed a bus which didnt managed to stop on time, bang into few cars just like dominos. Scary. Of course another driver of us, HX (we changed driver), avoided the accident. Every time, she start stopping far away from the front car to give sign to the car behind. :)
Anyway, toll was RM22+ (NSE, Guthrie, NKVE) + petrol,car depreciation,car wash(LOL)=RM70
Total expenses for the day was less RM50 each.
2 meals, hotspring, UTAR day tour, travel in new VIOS --> RM50 what else you want?

Wanna go budget travelling? I think we're one of the experts. LOL. (Self-praising)
