just wanna update the previous post(28/7)...
a visit to PE's mom's hometown in Tangkak, Johor...somewhere near Muar
we decided going on Friday and we were there on Saturday...we stayed in PE's relative's house...her relative shifted to Singapore years ago and the house was kept empty but with a few furniture...
DAY 1
reached by 1pm++, we headed to the house...rest for bout 30 minutes, we went to Gunung Ledang's waterfall (Gunung Ledang=Mount Ophir) ...a beautiful place with mysterious legend...climbed up the hills to the highest stop...reached bout 30 - 60 minutes later and the water is chilling...as cold as iced water...
fish spa in Gunung Ledang: look at the brown fishes in red circle (not my foot)after playing for 1 hour, we left Gunung Ledang...
we headed to the pasar malam nearby, just 3 minutes walk...but PE's mom insisted to go by car...LOL...the things sold there were cheap...much cheaper than those in KL and Klang at least...
we bought:
very famous and delicious chinese "carrotcake"- RM 2.50 each
a quater of watermelon- RM1.80
drink "ai yu bing"- RM 1.50 each
after meal...showered and headed to MUAR for otak-otak!!!
in Muar's foodcourt:
Prawn Otak-Otak-RM0.60 per piece
Fish Otak-Otak - RM0.50 per piece
Ais Kacang "ABC" - RM1.40
Sugar cane with lime - RM1.00 per cup
Wan Tan Mee - RM 2.50 per plate
DAY 2
woke up bout 10.30am, get ready...and we went for breakfast...most breakfast are sold out but we managed to have something...Pau..haha...pau was extra-large-sized compared to those sold in KL and even Klang..at low price of course
Then we headed to MALACCA!!!
travelled by car bout 30 minutes on the highway, we reached the busy Malacca...
went and had durian cendol in 'San Shu Gong'...delicious...
thumbs up: DON'T MISS...then, we wanted to watch a movie but decided not to at the end...went to the arcade in the shopping complex and get a few tokens to sing in the "karaoke-box"...but it was full housed...so we played a few round of games...then found an empty "box"...picked a chinese song to sing...but was disappointed when the song was not played properly...stuck here and there and 'fast forward' suddenly...haha...we sang 2 songs just to use up the remaining tokens...
went to Menara Taming Sari-RM10 each with MyKad...bout 5 minutes ride but rm10 gone...
in front of SAN SHU GONGThen went to Jonker street for Laksa...super delicious
Baba Laksa, Nyonya Laksa, Seafood Laksa...and 2 bowl of Gula Malacca Cendol...total: about RM 15...super delicious and super cheap!
then to the pasar malam i missed the previous time i was in Malacca (2008 x'mas),
bought:
keychain (RM5) forgot to buy a few for siblings,it was beautiful.i'll buy a few next time :Pwent back to the house and showered to go for delicious Nasi Lemak at a mamak stall...it was 9.30pm but already sold out...sad sad...we went to another stall for Nasi Lemak...but sold out also...at the end..we had Satay for supper...haha
No ice-cream, no Nasi Lemak(twice), wanted to buy popiah in Malacca, sold out also...what a day!
DAY 3
woke up early to come back...class was at 1pm on Monday...we had the delicious 'carrotcake' again before leaving...but really delicious...aboard on the bus bout 8.45am...travelled 3 hours and reached Hentian Sri Puteri at about 11.45am...have the clothes changed and attended class at 1pm...
...and the routine week begins...

a weekend without HK,
she wasnt with us bcoz she was busy with her performance for convocation(15/8-19/8)...
we went to jusco, tmn U as usual...
then had some shopping...bought supplies for the week and dinner for tat night...
since i had a Starbucks voucher(2nd cup for free), we went to Starbucks...we had Iced Chocolate with Chips...PE suggested for Secret Recipe cake...so she went and get the cake just next door...however, she couldnt get her favourite, so came back with Starbucks' cake...a blueberry cheese cake...not bad...
It was raining so heavily tat day, and my clothes are left outside...but couldnt do anything since i'm already outside...really really heavy...we stayed at Starbucks and enjoy the drinks and cake till it stopped...
we were sharing a cake...by accident, it turned out like an arrow shape...
